Leave and enter Cheshire. Through Ravensmoore, Knutsford and enter Greater Manchester keeping to the western edge of the city. Leave via West Haughton, into Lancashire finishing the day in Blackburn. |

Through the Border villages of Eskdalemuir, Trequair and Peebles and enter Lothian heading for Edinburgh via the National Cycle Network. Head for 53 Frederick Street for our night’s stop. |

Leave the city via the Forth Bridge and enter the Fife region and into Tayside travelling through Drum, Yetts O'Muckhart and Dunning. Now it starts to get very hilly and become more remote as we head towards Culloden and our much earned bed for the night in Blairgowerie. |

The penultimate and longest day. Leave via the A939 and after 30 miles pass the Culloden Battlefield. Head onwards and upwards through North Kessock, Muir of Ord and Dingwall over the Bonar Bridge through Lairg and onto Altnaharra. |
